There is a fair amount of men that are into Ukrainian women. However, a lot of these men do not always have the experience needed to properly date these women and they may find themselves unknowingly waving a few silent red flags in a relationship.

But there are a lot of red flags that many men fly unknowingly, things that turn a woman off a man and make them wish they never agreed to go on the date in the first place. But a little bit of awareness can help them avoid the red flags when dating an older man that some women look out for when they date a man who may be significantly older than them.

Learning what these relationship red flags and deal breakers are is a great way to avoid making them. If you know what to look out for, you know what to avoid.

1. Hedging Your Bets

Look, there’s nothing entirely wrong with having a backup plan. Until you and the woman you’re seeing define the relationship and proclaim yourselves exclusive, you may see other women. It’s not an unusual thing to have options in case one relationship doesn’t pan out.

However, when you are on a date, you have to pay attention to the date. If you’re swiping on dating apps while spending time together, then that’s not going to bode well for you. It may be the kind of thing that makes the woman that you are with decide to cut her losses and leave.

So stay off the apps when you are on a date, because it doesn’t reflect well on you if you cannot pay her your full attention. She may get the impression that you are playing games with her and she’s going to decide that she should be with someone who is ready to commit and not play around.

2. Talking Over Her

A relationship is ideally a two-way street (give and take), and a date is much like that. A date is basically a microcosm of a relationship, so it should also be a two-way street. This means that it is not ideal for you to do all the talking and not to let her get a word in edgewise.

People like to talk about themselves. In fact, a lot of people find themselves as their favorite topic of conversation. You need to be aware so that you can stop yourself from gabbing to let your partner get her turn at directing the conversation.

If you do find yourself in the enviable position of dating a Ukrainian woman, you are going to have to let her speak at some point.

3. Using Too Much Cologne

Smell is the sense that is most linked to memory. So smelling good on a date can make it better, in a retroactive sense. When your date looks back on your time together, she may remember it more fondly than she would have if you didn’t smell good.

But some guys can overdo it with the cologne in an attempt to smell good. Some of them can drown their bodies in cologne in the hopes that the scent will make their partners more liable to falling in love with them.

But going overboard with the cologne can be unpleasant. It can turn a woman’s opinion of a man in a negative direction faster than a sports car can go from zero to sixty.

Going overboard may not be the best way to do it. Using an unscented soap to eliminate body odor and a couple of spritzes of cologne should be more than enough to smell good, but not in a way that is overpowering for when you go out with Ukrainian women.

4. Having Too Much Fun

Dates are supposed to be fun. You and the woman that you are with are supposed to have fun with each other. The endgame of the date is for the both of you to have a good time.

But sometimes, you might have too much fun and then you act in a way that can be considered somewhat boorish. You do not want to come across as obnoxious because being rude is not all that appealing to women (and to people in general).

So have an appropriate amount of fun, have a couple of drinks and eat some good food. But do make sure to exercise some level of restraint so as not to go overboard. Having too much fun may compel you to behave in a manner that is ungentlemanly.

5. Not Having Fun at All

On the other side of that, being too uptight and stiff can also be bad for your love life. Your date would naturally want to feel like she is getting to know you. That’s going to be somewhat difficult if you come across as reserved and more than a little uptight.

So do make sure to loosen up. But do not loosen up too much because that might cause you to behave in a way that is not endearing.

6. Dressing Like a Slob

For the most part, a shirt and a pair of pants is generally the ideal outfit when you go on dates because that’s a look that’s neutral and relaxed. But if you go too casual, you end up looking like a slob.

You don’t need to look like you walked off of a shoot for an upscale fashion brand, but you do need to look like you put some effort into looking good.

Dating can be hard. For some, it can almost feel like walking through a minefield, where the smallest of mistakes can end in disaster. But there are ways to avert that.

Being careful is not something that just happens. True, most people will have the social skills and romantic experience to avoid making those mistakes, but there are also those who may end up putting their foot in their mouth a little more than average.

Learning to recognize what these mistakes are is a key ingredient in avoiding them, especially if you want to date Ukrainian women.
